Basement Waterproofing Repairs in Battle Lake, MN
Challenge
One of the biggest challenges our basement waterproofing crews see on a daily basis are homes with solid, structural floors. The edges of these floors are extremely thick, so jackhammering them requires lots of labor and creates lots of dust. This challenge can be taken care of by getting our DryTrak Drain Pipe System installed. This drain is epoxied above the floor and mud zone.
A homeowner in Battle Lake, MN was encountering the same problems with their thick floor and had water leaking from their foundation wall. They called American Waterworks and set up a FREE Estimate with one of our Design Specialists. Our Design Specialist went to their home, carefully examined their problem, and came up with the solution of our DryTrak Drain Pipe System. The homeowner was confident in the product and its warranty, so they went ahead with the repairs.
Solution
Our Foreman and his crew installed 35 feet of our DryTrak around the floor perimeter, which provides a slight opening along the top of the drain to collect water leaking in from the walls. The installation only took half of a day and the homeowner was relieved when they could no longer see water leaking from their walls to their floor.
