Basement Waterproofing in Dawson, MN

Our Design Specialist, Ryan Powell, went to their home, carefully inspected and diagnosed their problems, and determined a plan that would work for them and their home repair needs. The residents got all of their questions answered and were confident in the product, so they got a date finalized for the installation process.

Solution

Our Foreman, Jose Castillo, and his production crew started the process by introducing themselves to the residents and ensuring all of their questions were answered before moving forward. After a thorough introduction, our team got to work. First, our crew jackhammered out the concrete floor perimeter of the basement, forming a waterway trench. In the trench, our crew installed our WaterGuard. Our WaterGuard serves as an underground drain that collects leaking water from basement walls and prevents mud clogs. Next, our team installed our CleanSpace Wall System Vapor Barrier around the entire basement wall perimeter. This vapor barrier is designed to prevent humidity and mildew growth, save money on energy costs by keeping the basement warm, and gives the basement a nice, clean finish. To complete the installation, our team filled the open gaps in the floor with river rock and applied new concrete over them, ensuring the space was neat and clean. Before our crew left, Jose provided a final walkthrough with the residents, ensuring they were happy with the project and how it turned out!
