Damp Basement Gets Fixed in Des Lacs, ND

Lonnie, of Des Lacs, ND, and his family were beginning to notice that after each rainfall, their basement would begin to show signs of water intrusion. Wanting to correct the issue before it got worse, Lonnie did some research about basement waterproofing companies and came across ours. When he contacted us, we set him up with our FREE estimate, entitling him to a thorough inspection by one of our Design Specialists. A few weeks later, our Design Specialist, Richie, headed out to the property to complete his walkthrough. Once he finished, he was able to make recommendations as to how we could help fix the issue. 

Solution

First, Richie wanted to use our Foamax insulated wall panels on the bottom portion of the problem walls. He explained that insulating your basement with Foamax provides comfort and energy bill savings, while making your walls look clean and bright. Foamax is an advanced foam insulation panel that reduces condensation for exceptional moisture protection. Next, he wanted to use our WaterGuard drainage system to address water entering through cracks or holes in the basement floor. Richie explained that The WaterGuard® System is an award-winning, patented below-floor drain that rests in a bed of drainage stone on top of the foundation footing. He went on to say that it works to collect water entering the space, and redirect it to the appropriate disposal site. 

Our Foreman and his team worked diligently to install the necessary products and ended up installing 192 ft of both the WaterGuard and the Foamax. Now our customer can enjoy his space without worrying about any more water intrusion!
