Pooling Water Concerns Homeowner in Clearbrook, MN

Challenge

A homeowner in Clearbrook, MN, was cleaning the basement when they discovered pools of water near the walls. Wanting to take action immediately, the homeowners reached out to American Waterworks for a FREE estimate. Our Design Specialist, Richie, discovered the homeowner's sump pump was not working properly, causing water to be trapped in the space with no where to drain. Richie recommended that WaterGuards, a feedline, and CleanSpace be installed in the basement. The homeowners agreed and the installation began.

Solution

The crew began their work by digging lines for the WaterGuard around the interior perimeter of the basement. The homeowners were expected to cover the trim before construction, so the crew could remove as much of the bottom as necessary. After the WaterGuard was installed, the feedline was installed across the room to connect the pipeline. Additionally, the TripleSafe sump pump with two IceGuards was installed to ensure the protection of the basement. Finally, the crew installed CleanSpace to and the Aprilaire E100 to ensure the space stays dry. The crew successfully finished waterproofing the basement. The homeowners were left relieved that their basement was completely waterproofed.
