Flooded Floors in Fairmont, MN

Challenge

A homeowner in Fairmont, MN, came across a disturbing discovery, their basement floor was covered in water. Worried about the damages, the homeowner wanted to have a professional come out to the home right away. Knowing we are very reliable, the homeowner quickly called our Appointment Center and signed up for the FREE estimate as soon as possible. Knowing this was an emergency, we quickly sent out one of our Design Specialists, Dylan, to perform the estimate. Dylan completed the in-depth inspection and suggested that the basement be fully waterproofed. The homeowner agreed with Dylan's suggestions and the plans were immediately sent to the assigned crew.

Solution

Our Foreman, Raul, and his crew arrived at the home to begin the waterproofing installation. First, the crew installed the WaterGuard, an award-winning, patented below-floor drain that rests in a bed of drainage stone on top of the foundation footing. After the WaterGuard was secured into place, the crew dug and placed a feed line across the basement floor. Next, the crew took out the old sump pump and replaced it with the SuperSump+, an effective and more economical solution engineered to help keep basements dry and healthy. Additionally, an IceGuard is an anti-freeze fitting that is installed on the outside of your home to eject water away from the foundation. Finally, the crew placed CleanSpace, a waterproof plastic vapor barrier ideal for unfinished basement walls. The crew concluded their installations and cleaned up the basement to leave it as good as new. The homeowners were grateful for the excellent work the crew completed.
