Flooding Issues Resolved in Renville, MN

Challenge

A homeowner in Renville, MN, came across water stains throughout their basement. Concerned by this discovery, the homeowner wanted to tackle the issue before it worsened. The homeowner decided to ask a local Facebook group for any recommendations and many of their neighbors brought up us, American Waterworks. This sparked interest in the homeowner, so they decided to take a closer look at our services. Impressed by our services, the homeowner decided to sign up for their FREE estimate on our website. Once the estimate was set, we sent one of our Design Specialists, Dylan, to evaluate the status of the basement. Following his detailed analysis, Dylan determined that the basement did require further waterproofing.

Solution

Dylan alerted the homeowner of his findings and provided a couple of solutions for the homeowner. After comparing the many solutions, the homeowner agreed upon the one best fit for their home. Once the plans were picked, they were directed to the assigned crew and production began. Our Forman, Lane and his crew arrived at the home to begin the waterproofing installation. First, the crew installed the WaterGuard around the perimeter of the basement. WaterGuard is a below-floor drain that rests in a bed of drainage stone on top of the foundation footing. After the WaterGuard was secured, the crew dug a feedline across the center of the basement floor. Next, the crew installed the SuperSump+ in the corner of the basement. The SuperSump+ is engineered to help keep the basement healthy and dry for extended periods. After the SuperSump+ was installed, the crew cleaned up their materials and left the home.
