Water Damage Concerns in Preston, MN

Challenge

A homeowner in Preston, MN, checked their basement after a heavy rainstorm and saw signs of water intrusion. Wanting to solve the issue before the winter arrived, the homeowner wanted a waterproofing expert's opinion. After looking into all their options, the homeowner decided to sign up for American Waterwork's FREE estimate. After the estimate was set, we sent one of our Design Specialists, Ryan, to perform the inspection. Ryan completed the inspection and confirmed there were signs of water seeping into the basement.

Solution

After Ryan confirmed the water intrusion was the issue, he recommended updating all their waterproofing products. The homeowner wanted the issue to be resolved, so they agreed with Ryan's suggestions. Once they received the stamp of approval, the plans were directed to our Foreman, Gabriel, and his crew. Gabriel and his crew traveled to the home to begin the project. After arriving, the crew prepped the basement for production. The crew started by installing the WaterGuard, our premier drain system, around the basement. In addition to the WaterGuard, the crew dug a feedline across the basement to tie into the new TripleSafe sump pump. On the basement walls, the crew attached CleanSpace, a waterproof plastic vapor barrier. On the outside discharge line, the crew attached the IceGuard, an anti-freeze fitting. Once all the production concluded, the crew cleaned up their materials and plastic in the basement. The homeowner was surprised with how efficiently the crew worked.
