CleanSpace and WaterGuard Installed in Spring Valley, MN

Challenge

A homeowner in Spring Valley, MN, was putting Christmas decorations away in their basement when they discovered water damage on the floor. Worried that there was a larger issue at hand, the homeowner knew they needed help. Right away, the homeowner asked a social media group for suggestions, and many members suggested working with American Waterworks. After seeing so many people recommending us, the homeowner went to our website and signed up for their FREE estimate. When the estimate was set, we sent one of our Design Specialists, Eric, to the home. After Eric arrived, he began a details inspection of the basement.

Solution

Eric completed the estimate and suggested the WaterGuard be installed and a new sump pump. Knowing this was their best option, the homeowner agreed with Eric's suggestions, and the plans were sent to the assigned crew. Our Foreman, Kiko, and his crew arrived at the home to begin the project. First, the crew covered certain areas of the basement with protective plastic. After the plastic was hung, the crew started digging the channels for the WaterGuard, our premiere drain system. After securing the WaterGuard, the crew attached CleanSpace to the unfinished basement walls. CleanSpace is our waterproof plastic vapor barrier that is ideal for unfinished basement walls. After the CleanSpace was installed, the crew cleaned up the protective plastic and left the home. The homeowner was thankful for the excellent work done by the crew.
