WaterGuard Saves Basement in Baldwin, WI

A homeowner in Baldwin, WI, investigated their basement after a heavy rainstorm when they found standing water. The homeowner began searching for a local expert to solve the issue immediately. Jesse arrived at the home and started inspecting the basement to find the source of the issue.

Solution

Following his detailed inspection, Jesse discovered the water was sneaking near the wall footing. To stop the water from sneaking in further, Jesse suggested installing the WaterGuard around the perimeter of the basement. The homeowner wanted a long-term solution, so they agreed with Jesse's suggestions. After getting the stamp of approval, Jesse sent his recommended plans to one of our Foreman, Lane, and his crew. After they arrived at the home, Lane and his crew started by installing the WaterGuard, a perimeter drain system, near the footing of the basement wall. Additionally, the crew dug a feedline across the floor to connect to the sump pump. The crew completed the WaterGuard installation and shifted their focus to repairing the unfinished basement wall. CleanSpace, a quick and economical way to encapsulate basement walls, was attached to the unfished walls. After CleanSpace was attached, the crew cleaned up their materials and left the home.
