Waterproofed Basement in West Fargo, ND

Challenge

In West Fargo, ND a homeowner became concerned about the water damage in his basement. He had noticed small water-related issues in the past, but this time it had grown to a much bigger issue. He decided it was time to take action and the research for a business specializing in waterproofing basements began. During his searches, the homeowner came across our American Waterworks website. He discovered that we had a branch located in Fargo, close to where he lived and that we offered FREE estimates. Once he scheduled an appointment, we sent over one of our Design Specialists, Dylan Johnson.

Solution

Dylan arrived at the homeowner's place and began the inspection of the basement. After a thorough look at the water damage that was going on, he determined that the best solution would be to fully waterproof the basement. Dylan informed the homeowner of the plans and after he agreed, they were approved and given to Foreman Domenic Walz and his crew. They visited the site, ready for installations and began with our WaterGuard system, an award-winning, patented below-floor drain that rests in a bed of drainage stone on top of the foundation footing. Next, they replaced the old pump with a new SuperSump Plus which is engineered to help keep the basement dry and healthy for extended periods of time, even in times of heavy water intrusion.

The WaterGuard intercepts the water at the perimeter and directs it towards the SuperSump Plus pump which sends it outside of the home. The homeowner was thrilled to not have water issues in his basement anymore and was grateful for our services.
