CleanSpace Installation in Viroqua, WI

Challenge

A homeowner in Viroqua, WI, noticed their basement was quite humid and damp. Not sure how to solve this issue, the homeowner decided to reach out to us, American Waterworks. They signed up for their FREE estimate on our website and awaited the arrival of one of our Design Specialists, Dustin. Once he arrived, Dustin began evaluating the basement and found the origin of the issue. Dustin confirmed the basement was very humid and damp, but he recommended a solution to eliminate the issue.

Solution

Since the walls were textured, Dustin recommended attaching CleanSpace to the walls. The CleanSpace Wall system is a quick and economical way to encapsulate basement walls. Additionally, Dustin suggested installing an Aprilaire dehumidifier to keep the air healthy. After some deliberation, the homeowner agreed with Dustin's recommendations. The approved plans were sent to the office to be finalized. After they were approved and reviewed, the plans were sent to our Foreman, Francsico, and his crew. The crew started by attaching CleanSpace along all the basement walls. Once the CleanSpace was properly attached, the crew shifted their focus to installing the Aprilaire in the corner of the basement. After all the products were installed, the crew cleaned up their materials and put the basement back together. The homeowner was relieved to know their humidity risk was eliminated.
