In Charles City, IA a homeowner was enjoying her basement space when she noticed something off. Some areas in the carpeted main room were slightly damp and there were also some noticeable signs of damage to the base of the walls. She figured something should be done right away to make some changes to the space and get it back to a clean, water-free state. She did some research online for companies that offered services in her area and the American Waterworks name popped up. Solution

When Design Specialist Ryan Manske arrived at the home, he answered any questions the homeowner had and inspected the basement space for himself. He discovered that the water problems were causing damage and the best way to move forward was to install some of our waterproofing products. The homeowner agreed to the plans and scheduled a time for the project to begin. When the day came, our Foreman, Lane Schlobohm, and his crew went to the site ready for installations. They began by installing WaterGuard at the base of the problem walls to collect any water intake and safely lead it away to the sump pump. Then, they fastened CleanSpace to the walls to provide protection and create a brighter look to the area. The homeowner was happy with the results and glad she didn't wait too long to fix the problem.
