Champlin, MN, Sump Pump Malfunction Resolved

Challenge

A homeowner in Champlin, MN, noticed their sump pump was beginning to run odd. Unsure of the issue, they knew they needed an expert's opinion. Overwhelmed by all their options, the homeowner asked their friends and family for any referrals. Several of them recommended the homeowner to work with us, American Waterworks. The homeowner decided to take a closer look at all of our services. Once they saw our stellar lineup, they knew we were the waterproofing company for them. The homeowner called our Appointment Center and signed up for their FREE estimate. After the estimate was set, the homeowner awaited the arrival of Nick, one of our Design Specialists. Nick arrived at the home, introduced himself, and began the detailed estimate of the sump pump.

Solution

Following his detailed investigation, Nick determined the sump pump needed to be replaced. Additionally, Nick saw that the corner needed some additional waterproofing. Nick proposed his plan to the homeowner and they agreed. Once they received the stamp of approval, the plans were sent to our office and then to our Foreman, Diego. After Diego received the plans, he and his crew traveled to the home to begin the project. Diego and his crew arrived at the home and they started by taking out the old sump pump. Once the old sump pump was removed, the crew could install the WaterGuard, our below-floor drain system. Next, the crew installed the SuperSump+ where the old sump pump was placed. Then, the crew covered the channels and attached CleanSpace to the walls. CleanSpace is a 100% waterproof plastic vapor barrier that prevents humidity and mold growth. The crew successfully installed all the products, so they cleaned up their materials and left the home. The homeowner was put at ease knowing they had a properly working sump pump in their home.
