Flooded Basement Transformation in Grand Forks, ND

Challenge

Following a heavy rainstorm, a homeowner in Grand Forks, ND, knew they needed to inspect the status of their basement. The homeowner discovered that their basement was flooding. Worried about the long-term damage, the homeowner knew they needed to find a waterproofing solution. Solution

When Kole arrived at the home, he began his detailed investigation of the basement. Following his investigation, Kole determined the water was sneaking into the north and west walls of the basement. To stop the water intrusion from continuing, Kole recommended installing several waterproofing products. After deliberating all their options, the homeowner decided to go ahead with Kole's recommendations. Once they received the stamp of approval, the plans were sent to our office and then to our Foreman, Roel. After Roel and his crew received the plans, they traveled to the home to begin the project. Roel and his crew started by installing the WaterGuard along the north and west walls of the basement. WaterGuard is our perimeter drain system that is designed to prevent clogs. After the WaterGuard was in place, the crew tied the new WaterGuard system into the current sump pump. Finally, the crew attached CleanSpace to the unfinished basement walls. CleanSpace is a quick and economical way to encapsulate basement walls. After all the products were installed, the crew cleaned up their materials and left the home.
