Bismarck, ND, Fully Waterproofs Leaky Basement

A homeowner in Bismarck, ND, wanted to remodel their basement and they wanted to complete it the right way. Since they were already starting from scratch, the homeowner decided they should fully waterproof their basement. After hearing such positive reviews about American Waterworks, the homeowner decided to sign up for their FREE estimate on our website. The estimate was set with one of our Design Specialists, Ian. Soon after the estimate was set, Ian arrived at the home and began the detailed inspection.

Solution

During his investigation, Ian discovered that the home had signs of water damage. To prevent the water damage from worsening, Ian recommended fully waterproofing the basement. The homeowner agreed with Ian's recommendations and the plans were sent back to the office to be approved. Once they were finalized, they were sent to our Foreman, Emmanuel. Next, Emmanuel and his crew traveled to the home to begin the waterproofing project. First, Emmanuel and his crew installed WaterGuard around the perimeter of the basement. WaterGuard is our perimeter drainage system that is designed to fix basement water issues without clogging from soil and settlement. Next, the crew installed CleanSpace on the unfinished half of the basement walls. CleanSpace is a quick and economical way to encapsulate basement walls. Finally, the crew attached an IceGuard, an anti-freeze attachment, to the outside discharge line. After all the products were installed, the crew cleaned up their materials and left the home.
