Damp Basement Gets Saved in Zumbrota, MN

Challenge

A homeowner from Zumbrota, MN, had discovered water on his basement floor after a hard rainstorm. Concerned about what this could mean for his home, he decided to begin the search for a basement waterproofing company in Minnesota. When he found our website, he decided to sign up for his FREE estimate, and a few weeks later, Trevor S, one of our Design Specialists, headed out to the home.

Solution

Once Trevor completed his walkthrough, he met with the homeowner to give his recommendations. He let the homeowner know that he was right to call us. Trevor went on to say that he recommended a few of our products be installed. First, he wanted to install our WaterGuard below-floor drain around the perimeter of the basement. To complement this system, he recommended our CleanSpace. CleanSpace is a 100% waterproof plastic vapor barrier that gets applied directly to leaky basement walls. It works to collect water entering from the walls, directing it downward and into the WaterGuard drain. Our WaterGuard sits below the floor slab, resting on top of the foundation footing. This keeps the system out of the "mud zone" where other drains tend to clog. This drain works to collect water trapped by the CleanSpace and direct it to the proper disposal site, which in this case, Trevor recommended to be our TripleSafe sump pump. Our most reliable sump pump system, the TripleSafe, provides three levels of protection for your basement and your peace of mind. The homeowner liked the idea of complementing products and scheduled the job to be completed a few weeks later.

On the day of the installation, our Foreman, Raul B, and his team installed 92 ft of our WaterGuard, 1 TripleSafe sump, and another 92 ft of CleanSpace. Now, our customer can enjoy his space without worries of water intrusion!
