Challenge

A homeowner in Nora Springs, IA, checked on their basement after a series of heavy storms and found water stains throughout. Worried this could have serious, lasting effects on their basement, the homeowner knew they needed to find a permanent solution. Unsure who to work with, the homeowner asked a local Facebook group for any recommendations. Several members of the group recommended working with us, American Waterworks. Solution

Brain arrived at the home and began his thorough investigation of the basement. During his investigation, Brian discovered several areas where the water was sneaking in. After he completed his estimate, Brian was able to come up with a solution that would solve the waterproofing issues. Knowing this was their best option, the homeowner decided to go ahead with Brian's proposal. Once the proposal was approved by the homeowner, it was sent to the Logistics team to build the project. Once the project was built, the plans were sent to our Foreman, Raul, and his crew. After they received the plans, Raul and his crew traveled to Nora Springs and began the installation. First, the crew installed the WaterGuard around the basement perimeter. WaterGuard is a perimeter drain system specifically engineered to fix basement water issues without the risk of clogging.
