Challenge

A homeowner in Guttenberg, IA, grew worried their home was not pumping water out efficiently. Instead of waiting until Spring to fix the issue, the homeowner knew they needed to solve the problem now. The homeowner began looking into better sump pumps for their home. Solution

After Brady arrived, he began his thorough investigation of the basement and sump pump system. During his investigation, he found that the sump pump was malfunctioning and required replacement. Brady shared his proposal with the homeowner, and they decided to go ahead with the project. Once they received the stamp of approval, Brady passed the plans along to our Logistics team to build the project. After the project was built, it was assigned to our Foreman, Diego, and his crew. Diego and his crew arrived at the home and began the sump pump installation. First, the crew took out the old sump pump and replaced it with the SuperSump+. The SuperSump+ is a premier sump pump that is engineered to help keep basements dry and healthy for extended periods. Once the SuperSump+ was installed, the crew shifted their focus to installing a standard discharge line outside the home. After the standard discharge line was installed, the crew attached an IceGuard on the outside discharge line. An IceGuard is an anti-freeze fitting that is installed outside the home and ejects water away from the foundation. After all the products were installed, the crew cleaned up their materials and left the home. The homeowner was delighted with the excellent and swift work completed by the crew.
