Britt, IA, Waterproofed Struggling Basement

Challenge

A homeowner in Britt, IA, knew it was about time to schedule their annual maintenance appointment. The homeowner contacted our Service team and scheduled her annual maintenance appointment with Darin, our Sr. Service Technician. Once the appointment was set, Darin traveled to the home and began his inspection of the installation products. During his inspection, Darin discovered that the products were all working properly. However, Darin did notice several signs of water intrusion and leaking. Darin alerted the homeowner of his findings and also provided them with a solution. After hearing Darin's proposal, the homeowner knew it was their best option, so they agreed with his proposal.

Solution

After Darin received the green light from the homeowner, he passed the proposal to our office to build and schedule the plans. Once the plans were scheduled, it was assigned to our Foreman, Kevin, and his crew to begin the project. Kevin and his crew traveled to Britt, IA, and began the waterproofing installation. First, Kevin and his crew began by installing WaterGuard around the basement perimeter. WaterGuard is a perimeter drain system that is specifically engineered to fix basement problems efficiently without the issues of clogging. After the WaterGuard was secured, the crew took out the old sump pump and replaced it with the TripleSafe Sump Pump, one of the most reliable sump pump systems on the market. As soon as the new sump pump was installed, the crew shifted their focus to installing a feedline to tie all the systems together.
