Leaky Basement Transformed in Plymouth, MN

Challenge

A homeowner from Plymouth, MN, had been going through a basement nightmare. Whenever his area got rain, the basement would slowly take on water, leaving puddles around the baseboard of the basement walls. The homeowner was tired of dealing with the issue and decided to find a local waterproofing specialist to address the problem. When he found our website, he signed up for his FREE estimate, and several weeks later, Gary S, one of our Design Specialists, was headed out to the home.

Solution

When Gary arrived, he got right to work conducting his inspection of the space. Once he completed his walkthrough, he met with the homeowner. Gary explained that the basement could be seeing water intrusion for a variety of reasons but that he believed we could help fix the issue with two of our products. First, Gary recommended our WaterGuard drainage system. Gary explained that WaterGuard is a unique French drain that gets installed around the perimeter of the home, below the floor, but atop the footing of the foundation. This placement keeps the drain out of the 'mud zone' where similar drains tend to clog. Gary elaborated, saying that the goal of this drain is to give water entering up through the floor a channel to flow freely to a disposal site. During Gary's inspection, he noted that the basement lacked a sump, so he recommended our SuperSump sump pump, an effective yet economical choice to rid your basement of water. The homeowner was impressed with Gary's recommendations and decided to schedule the job.

On the day of the project, our Foreman, Jeromy A, and his team got right to work. After a long day, they successfully installed 35 ft of WaterGuard and 1 SuperSump pump in the home. Now, our customer is thrilled to know that his water intrusion issues are behind him!
