A homeowner in Waterville, IA, began a home transformation project. Since they were completing renovations, the homeowner wanted to ensure the basement would be properly waterproofed and secure. Knowing it would be a larger project, the homeowners began looking for a professional waterproofing company near them. One of the first companies to catch their eye was us, American Waterworks. Solution

Ryan arrived at the home and began his thorough inspection of the property. Once Ryan completed his detailed walk-through, he was able to provide the homeowner with a proper solution. After hearing Ryan's proposal, they decided to go ahead with the plans. Next, Ryan sent the plans to our Logisitcs team to schedule and finalize the project. After our Logistics team built and approved the plans, they assigned it to our Foreman, Luis, and his crew. Luis and his crew traveled to the home to begin the project. First, Luis and the crew installed WaterGuard around the basement perimeter. WaterGuard is our innovative below-floor drain system that prevents clogging and flooding. Then, the crew took out the old sump pump and replaced it with the TripleSafe sump pump, one of the best sump pumps on the market. Next, the crew attached CleanSpace to the unfinished basement walls. CleanSpace is a 100% waterproofed vapor barrier that encapsulates basement walls. Finally, the crew installed SmartJacks along the basement ceiling. SmartJacks provide soil support for sagging and undersized beams, restoring stabilizing and straightness. Luis and his crew cleaned up their materials and left the home.
