SuperSump+ Installed in Rochester, MN

Challenge

A homeowner in Rochester, MN, noticed that their current sump pump had failed and was worried about the possible issues that would affect their basement. He remembered seeing one of our ads on TV and searched for our website. After browsing through our website, he was impressed with our "Before and After" stories and was happy to see that we offer FREE estimates. After learning this information, he decided to contact us to claim his FREE estimate.

Solution

Our Design Specialist, Ryan P., arrived at the home on the scheduled date and quickly assessed the basement. He recommended having our SuperSump+, IceGuard, and Aprilaire Dehumidifier installed. He explained to the homeowner that our SuperSump+ comes with a primary pump capable of pumping out 2,200 gallons of water per hour, which is perfect for keeping the basement dry. Our IceGuard, which is attached to the outside of the home, will eject water away from the foundation. Unlike traditional discharge lines, our IceGuard is designed not to freeze under cold temperatures. Ryan did also notice that the moisture levels in the basement were high, and so he recommended the dehumidifier to control that humidity, ensuring the homeowner's basement remains dry all year long. The homeowner happily agreed to Ryan's suggestion, and his design was sent to our Foreman, Edgar M.

In about a month, Edgar and his crew arrived at the home to carry out the installations. They replaced the homeowner's previous sump pump with our SuperSump+. Once they made sure the sump pump would fit in the space, they placed the liner and the pump into the sump pump pit. Then, the drain system is connected to the new sump pump. This is also when they install the IceGuard and make sure it's connected to the sump pump. Then, clean gravel was backfilled around the sump pump liner. Lastly, the flooring would be restored with concrete. Finally, the crew installed the Dehumidifier, and they cleaned up their equipment and left the home.
