Our production team got to work and stabilized the foundation with the installation of our CarbonArmor straps to halt any further movement and cracks. Next, they began the Waterproofing project by removing the concrete around the perimeter of the basement and laying 140 feet of our WaterGuard drainage system. They installed our recommended TripleSafe sump pump in the corner and our ZenWall Insulated Basement Panels along the walls. They removed the basement windows and replaced them with 5 of our EverLast Basement Windows and SunHouse window wells, and 1 RockWell Egress Window System with a durable window well cover. The crew also installed our WellDuct System with each window to redirect any water to the perimeter WaterGuard drainage system. Water is now properly guided through the WaterGuard to the sump pump, and from there, it is discharged from the home. Lastly, Chuck had our radon mitigation system installed. Our radon mitigation system is easily installed alongside our waterproofing system, and the post-installation test results showed that the system effectively brought the radon gas down to a safe level. Chuck was impressed with the entire process, and is glad he made the investment to protect his home and restore its value.
