Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: Egress Window and Foundation Waterproofing Repairs in Lake Crystal, MN

Rick and Jeanine M. of Lake Crystal, MN had water leaking from their existing window and were experiencing foundation cracks, making them both worry about the safety and stability of their home. They did research online and came across our website. After looking through our basement waterproofing and foundation repair products, they called our office line and scheduled a FREE Estimate with our Design Specialist, Ryan Powell. Ryan went to their home, carefully inspected their basement, window, and foundation walls. After a clear and drawn out solution, Rick and Jeanine moved forward with the project and scheduled an installation date.  Window Installation: Our Foreman, Kiko Pena, and his crew began the process by digging out the soil with an excavator surrounding the foundation. Our team measured the size of the Egress window from the inside of the home, cut out the small window, and installed our Egress window with the RockWell Window Well on the other side of the foundation. Our CarbonArmor helps reinforce bowling walls and repairs cracks by utilizing epoxy to strengthen and stabilize the walls. The reinforcement becomes part of the wall structure and can be hidden with a coat of paint.  Basement Waterproofing Repair: Lastly, our team broke out the concrete floor perimeter with a jackhammer, forming a trench. In the trench, our team installed our WaterGuard System, which prevents water clogs, serves as an underground drain, and collects water seepage from basement walls. Then, our crew applied our CleanSpace Wall Vapor Barrier around the wall perimeter, which is made to prevent mold and humidity, and serves as an extra wall protectant. Our CleanSpace covered the CarbonArmor in this scenario, giving the basement a neat and clean appearance. To complete the project, Kiko and his team covered the open gaps with rock and applied new concrete.  Rick and Jeanine were very happy with the repairs and could not believe the transformation!
