Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: Carpeted Basement Waterproofed in Newport, MN

Rufus A. of Newport, MN had wet carpet throughout his entire basement, making him worry about water moisture and mold build-up. He got in contact with our office staff and set up a FREE Estimate with our Design Specialist, Josh Schultz. Josh went to his home, inspected the carpet and floors, and came up with a solution that fit his needs and budget. Rufus was confident with Josh's proposal, so he went ahead with the project.  Our Foreman, Juan Pena, and his crew began the installation by breaking out the concrete floor perimeter with a jackhammer, forming a trench. In the trench, our team installed our WaterGuard System, which is made to prevent water clogs, serves as an underground drain, and collects water seepage from basement walls. Next, our team installed our TripleSafe Sump Pump System. In connection with the discharge line (which leads to outside) our TripleSafe is provided with three layers of protection, solves all three problems in one system, and comes with a battery back-up to pump water out quickly and efficiently. Outside of the home, our crew installed our IceGuard to the discharge line and ended the discharge line with a LawnScape Outlet beyond the yard. Lastly, our crew installed our SaniDry XP Upright Dehumidifier, and plugged in its tube to the sump pump. Our SaniDry can remove up to 109 liters of water per day and can dry up to 2,500 square feet in an eight-foot tall basement. To complete the project, Juan and his crew covered the open gaps with river rock and applied new concrete over it.
