Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: Egress Window Installed in Minot, ND

Jeremy D. of Minot, MN had water leaking from his existing window, making him feel nervous about flooding hazards and other water damages. He got in contact with our office staff at American Waterworks and scheduled a FREE Estimate with our Design Specialist, Richie Noreen. Richie went to his home, inspected his problems, and came up with a solution that fit his needs. After a thorough and in-depth diagnosis, Jeremy was comfortable with Richie's proposal of our Egress window, so he went ahead with the project and scheduled a day for the installation.  Our Foreman, Ryan Loe, and his production team began the project by breaking out the soil around the outside of the home, forming a wide, deep hole to install the window. Next, our crew measured the window in comparison with the home and cut out the space to fit in correctly. It is important that the Egress window is large enough to allow for a safe exit in case of any fire hazards or other emergencies. Then, Ryan and his crew installed our RockWell egress window well around the exterior. This kind of window well provides an attractive alternative to ugly window wells, while providing a safe, code-compliant basement egress. To complete the project, our team backfilled the open gaps and replaced the soil, making the yard look much neater than when they found it.
