A homeowner in McIntosh, MN was experiencing water leaks and a cracked foundation underneath their staircase leading to their basement. They wanted to get it looked at and repaired right away before it got any worse or caused more problems. They called American Waterworks and scheduled a FREE Estimate with our Design Specialist, Ian Schultz. Ian went to their home, carefully diagnosed the problems that were occurring, and came up with a solution that worked for them and their budget. After a thorough introduction, our team got to work by installing two of our GeoLock Wall Anchors underneath the staircase. Our anchors are installed by long, metal rods from inside and outside of the foundation wall, and are tightened with an anchor plate. Next, our team installed our CleanSpace Wall Vapor Barrier around the wall anchors and their existing sump pump. Our CleanSpace prevents and hides water moisture, mold, and humidity build-up, It gives the space a neat and clean appearance, and it covers any holes or divots. To complete the project, Corey did a final walkthrough with the homeowner and made sure all expectations were met.
