Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: Basement Waterproofing and Foundation Repair in Alexandria, MN

A female homeowner of Alexandria, MN had cracks in her foundation wall which were enabling water to leak into her basement. She found American Waterworks on Angi's List, so she scheduled a FREE estimate with our Design Specialist team. Our Design Specialist went to the homeowner's house, carefully inspected her cracked wall and her water issues, and proposed our WaterGuard Below Floor Drain, CleanSpace Wall System Vapor Barrier, and our Wall Anchor System. The homeowner was confident in our products and comfortable with our presentation, so she followed through with the project.  Our Foreman, Cameron, and his team started the installation by jackhammering out the concrete floor perimeter, forming a trench. In the trench, our crew installed our WaterGuard Below Floor Drain, which prevents mud clogs and collects water seepage from basement walls. Next, our crew installed our Wall Anchors along the foundation wall, which is installed with galvanized anchors that are embedded into the soil, which is connected by a steel rod to the wall plate. The pressure of the two against the foundation wall is what straightens it back to its natural position. Lastly, Cameron and his crew installed our CleanSpace Wall System Vapor Barrier over the wall anchors and damp wall. This vapor barrier is designed to prevent mold and humidity, save money on energy costs, and give the basement a nice and clean appearance.
