Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: Wet Basement Waterproofed in Dorchester, IA

A female homeowner of Dorchester, IA had water leaking from her pre-existing sump pump. She wanted to get it fixed before it got any worse. She saw an American Waterworks commercial, so she got in touch with our office and scheduled a FREE estimate and inspection. Our Design Specialist went to her home and proposed a solution that would match her wants and needs. The homeowner was confident in the proposal, so she signed our proposal, put down a deposit, and got a date scheduled for the installation.  Our Foreman and his crew went to the homeowner's house, introduced themselves, and ensured all of her questions were answered. After a thorough introduction, our team started the installation by breaking out the concrete floor perimeter with a jackhammer, forming a trench. In the trench, our crew installed our WaterGuard Below Floor Drain, which prevents water clogs and collects water seepage from basement walls. Next, our team installed our SuperSump, which keeps basements dry for long periods of time. From the sump pump, our crew connected the discharge line to the outside of the home, where we installed our IceGuard and LawnScape Outlet. Our IceGuard is made to eject water away from the foundation in case the sump pump discharge line freezes or gets clogged. Our LawnScape Outlet is installed away from the home for water to escape. To complete the project, our crew filled the open gaps in the floor with rock and applied a new layer of concrete, to ensure the basement looked as good as new.
