Cracked Concrete Stairs Get a Lift in Rochester, MN

A homeowner in Rochester, MN, was dealing with a cracked and sinking front step. Not wanting to sacrifice curb appeal and safety any longer, she decided to begin the search for a company in the area that could help fix the issue. She found the American Waterworks website and took advantage of our FREE estimates, and a few weeks later our Design Specialist, Nate B, headed out to the home. 

Once Nate finished his inspection, he met with the homeowner to give his recommendations. Nate explained that concrete could sink for various reasons but that American Waterworks could combat her sinking slabs with the help of our PolyLevel method. PolyLevel is a polyurethane foam that expands when it's injected beneath concrete slabs, filling voids left by soil erosion and slowly lifting the concrete back into place. He went on to say that we finish our installations with the application of our NexusPro. A silicone-based sealant, NexusPro gets applied to all cracks and joints in the concrete and works to prevent any unwanted moisture or debris under the slab. The homeowner liked the sound of the work, and the job was scheduled to be completed a few weeks later. 

On the day of the project, our Foreman, Troy, was able to complete the lift and seal the cracks and joints. Now our homeowner can enjoy her upgraded, and safer, front steps!
