Concrete Lifting Services in Clermont, IA
Challenge
When concrete sinks, it can cause problems such as uneven surfaces, tripping hazards, and pooling water. It also reduces the value of the home. Most concrete problems are caused to poor soil, and poor soil can soften because of excessive moisture, shrink due to drought, or can be unstable if it is not properly compacted.
Robin M. of Clermont, IA was experiencing these exact issues with her concrete slab, which had a generator on it. She scheduled a FREE estimate with our Design Specialist, so our Design Specialist went to Robin's home, carefully inspected her slab, and drew up a solution that would work for her and her home repair needs. After a clear inspection, Robin felt confident in the proposal of our PolyLevel, which is a polyutherane foam that fills the voids underneath the concrete and stabilizes the surface. She got a date scheduled for the installation.
Solution
Our Foreman and his crew member began the project by introducing themselves to the homeowner and ensuring all of their questions were answered. After a clear introduction, our team got to work and injected 42 pounds of our PolyLevel. To do this, our team drills small, 5/8" holes throughout the concrete, installs injection ports over the holes, then injects the PolyLevel underneath the slab, and lastly covers the holes with a special sealant. The installation only took one day and Robin was beautified by the transition. She was grateful that her cement pad was no longer settling!
