Concrete Repair in Green Isle, MN
Challenge
The stability of a concrete slab is dependent on the soils that are underneath it. Along with natural soil erosion, the weight of concrete and what it supports can cause sunken and even surfaces. This process can affect anything from patios to driveways to sidewalks.
A homeowner in Green Isle, MN was having similar problems, causing them to worry about the value of their home. They got in contact with American Waterworks and scheduled a FREE estimate with our Design Specialist. Our Design Specialist went to the homeowner's house, carefully inspected their problems, and proposed the solution of our PolyLevel, which is a special foam that lifts and stabilizes the concrete surface. The homeowner was confident in our presentation and proposal, so they signed the contract and put down a deposit.
Solution
To begin the project, our concrete Foreman and his crew member injected our PolyLevel underneath the concrete to fill the voids caused by eroded soil and to stabilize the surface. The first step in injecting our PolyLevel is to drill small, 5/8" holes throughout the slab. Next, our crew installs injection ports over the holes to guide the PolyLevel. Lastly, our crew injects the PolyLevel and seals the holes and control joints. This project can be done in less than a couple of hours and you can use your concrete within 15 minutes of injection. It is a non-invasive process, provides accurate results, and is adjustable for loads of all sizes.
The homeowner was happy with the work that was performed and had a great experience from start to finish!
