Concrete Slab Gets Lifted in Hanover, MN
Challenge
Steven from Hanover, MN got in contact with us when he began to notice his front concrete slab was sinking. He was afraid that if he left the issue unresolved he would run the risk of the water damaging his concrete slab, and excess water finding it's way down to his foundation due to the runoff.
Solution
Steven decided to do something about his problem, so he called our office to see if our services would be a fit. We set him up with our FREE estimate, and a few weeks later our Design Specialist, Jarrett, headed out to the property to assess the issue and see what could be done to fix it. After his inspection, he recommended the use of our PolyLevel injection. Jarrett explained that our PolyLevel is an expanding polyurethane foam that is meant to be injected below the slab, filling any voids caused by erosion while raising and stabilizing the slab. Our customer agreed and work began shortly after.
Our Foreman, Tyler, began the process by strategically drilling holes into the slab. Next, he injected the foam and was careful to monitor the lifting process to ensure no over-correction was made. When he finished lifting and leveling, he sealed any cracks or porous holes with our NexusPro to ensure no water would get under the slab. When the job was done Steven was happy to know his concrete slab wouldn't be going anywhere anytime soon!
