Uneven Driveway in Hamel, MN

Challenge

A homeowner in Hamel, MN, did not care for the look of the cracks throughout the concrete in their driveway. Open to looking at different options, the homeowner began their search for the best concrete repair company. During their search, the homeowner came across American Waterworks' eye-catching work. Wanting to give us a chance, the homeowners went to our website and signed up for their FREE estimate. Once the appointment was set, Lance, one of our Design Specialists, traveled to the home to start the inspection. Lance completed the in-depth inspection and alerted the homeowners that their driveway concrete was sinking. After giving them the diagnosis, Lance provided a couple of solutions that would solve the homeowners' issues. Following some deliberation, the homeowner decided to go with one of Lance's solutions and repairs commenced.

Solution

Our Foreman, Dylon, and his crew arrived at the home to start the lifting and repair process. First, the crew found the affected driveway sections and inserted the PolyLevel underneath. PolyLevel is a polyurethane foam injection solution that fills voids, stabilizes, and lifts sinking concrete slabs. Once the PolyLevel was fully installed, the crew redirected their attention to the cracks and affected joints through the driveway. To fill and replace these sections, the crew utilized the NexusPro Solution, a silicone-based sealant for joints and cracks specially formulated to provide long-lasting flexibility and withstand harsh weather conditions. Since the NexusPro is UV resistant, the solution won't crack, bubble, or dry out. Once the crew completed the repairs, they cleaned up their job site and left the home.
