Uneven Sidewalk Leveled in Lakeland, MN

Challenge

A homeowner in Lakeland, MN, was entering their garage one evening when they stumbled down the sidewalk. Alarmed by their fall, the homeowner noticed their sidewalk was extremely uneven. Knowing this would not be a do-it-yourself fix, the homeowner looked for expert assistance. During their search, the homeowner came across our eye-catching job photos and knew we would do the best job. The homeowner called our Appointment Center and signed up for their FREE estimate. Once the estimate was secured, we sent one of our Design Specialists, Gary, to the home. After Gary arrived, he began his detailed inspection of the sidewalk. Gary determined that the cause of the unevenness was sinkage.

Solution

To stop the sidewalk from sinking further, Gary recommended that the sidewalk be lifted and leveled. The homeowner knew this was their best option, so they agreed to Gary's recommendations. After the plans were approved, they were to our Foreman, Patrick, and his crew. When they arrived, Patrick and his crew started by inserting the PolyLevel, a polyurethane foam injection solution, underneath the sinking concrete. The PolyLevel can restore the appearance and safety of concrete without the mess or cost of replacement. After they inserted all the PolyLevel, the crew shifted their focus to replacing the joints on the concrete. To replace the joints, the crew utilized the NexusPro Joint Sealant, a silicone-based sealant. Once the joints were replaced, the sidewalk looked as good as new.
