PolyLevel Install in Browntown, MN

Challenge

A homeowner in Browntown, MN, was coming home from work when they noticed there was a gap between concrete slabs. Nervous that the issue could worsen, the homeowner decided to look further into concrete repair options. While looking, the homeowner came across American Waterwork's concrete job time lapses. Impressed by our work, the homeowner decided to sign up for their FREE estimate. Once the estimate was set, the homeowner prepared for the arrival of Kevin, one of our Design Specialists. Once Kevin arrived he began his inspection of the concrete. Kevin determined that the concrete was sinking due to settlement and if it goes unfixed it will worsen.

Solution

Kevin suggested that the sidewalk be lifted using the PolyLevel, a polyurethane foam injection solution, to stop the sidewalk from settling further. The homeowner knew this was their best option, so they decided to go ahead with Kevin's suggestion. After receiving the okay, the plans were directed to the assigned crew and they set off to the home. Our Foreman, Dylon, and his crew arrived at the home and began the PolyLevel installation. The crew focused on lifting along the control joint to make the aggregate and driveway level. They also lifted where the sidewalk and driveway meet. Once the PolyLevel was fully installed, the crew was able to clean up their materials and leave. The homeowners were relieved to know their sidewalk was no longer at risk of settlement.
