Sidewalk Repaired with PolyLevel in Fountain City, WI

Challenge

A homeowner in Fountain City, WI, was walking outside their home when they tripped on an uneven section of the sidewalk. Alarmed, the homeowner knew it was time to have the sidewalk repaired. Unsure of who to work with, the homeowner decided to ask their neighborhood Facebook group for any suggestions. To their surprise, a majority of the members recommended us, American Waterworks. The homeowner went to our website and signed up for their FREE estimate. We sent one of our Design Specialists, Mike, to the home to investigate the status of the concrete. Mike found that the sidewalk was sinking, leading to various issues. Mike alerted the homeowner of his discovery, but he also provided them with a solution.

Solution

Mike suggested lifting and leveling the sidewalk using PolyLevel, a polyurethane foam injection solution. Since this solution would avoid total replacement, the homeowner agreed with Mike's suggestions. The plans were sent to our Foreman, Patrick, and his crew. When Patrick and his crew arrived at the home, they began by preparing the sidewalk for the PolyLevel installation. The crew inserted the PolyLevel underneath the sidewalk and driveway. Following the PolyLevel installation, the crew began repairing the various cracks and joints using the NexusPro Sealant, a silicone-based solution. Once the cracks and joints were repaired, the crew cleaned up their materials and left the home. The homeowner was thankful for the wonderful job completed by Patrick and his crew.
