Tripping Hazard in Chippewa Falls, WI

Challenge

A homeowner in Chippewa Falls, WI, knew their sidewalk was becoming a safety hazard. Although their sidewalk was pretty bad, they wanted to avoid replacing any of the concrete. The homeowner began looking into repair options that would not break the bank. During their search, the homeowner came across our lifting and leveling services. Once they arrived, the Design Specialist began their investigation of the wonky sidewalk. The Design Specialist determined that the sidewalk was sinking into the ground and would only continue.

Solution

After the Design Specialist determined the cause of the issues, he was able to draw up a solution for the homeowner. The Design Specialist recommended using the PolyLevel, a polyurethane foam injection solution, to lift and level the sidewalk to make it all even again. Knowing this would be the best option for their situation, the homeowner agreed. The Design Specialist passed the plans to the production crew and they traveled to the home. Our Foreman, Dylon, and his crew arrived at the home and began by marking off where they would be installing the PolyLevel. Once those areas were lifted, the crew shifted their focus to lifting the slab near the stairs.
