Challenge

A homeowner in Albertville, MN, noticed their sidewalk was sinking into the ground. Wanting to solve the issue before it worsened, the homeowner looked into a variety of concrete repair options. After setting the estimate, the homeowner awaited the arrival of our Design Specialist. The Design Specialist arrived and began inspecting the status of the sidewalk. Once he wrapped up the estimate, the Design Specialist determined the sidewalk was sinking into the ground.

Solution

To stop the sidewalk from sinking further, the Design Specialist suggested lifting and leveling the sidewalk with our PolyLevel, a polyurethane foam injection solution. Additionally, the homeowner suggested filling the various cracks with NexusPro, a silicone-based sealant. The homeowner agreed and the plans were sent to the office to be approved. Once the office approved the plans, they were directed to our Foreman, Dylon, and his crew. Dylon and his crew traveled to the home to begin the project. First, the crew started by lifting and leveling the sidewalk leading up to the home. Once the sidewalk was lifted, the crew shifted their focus to taking out the old joints and replacing them with the NexusPro Joint Sealant.
