Concrete Replacement Avoided in Canton, MN
Challenge
A homeowner in Canton, MN, disliked the jagged look of the driveway. Wanting to avoid total concrete replacement, the homeowner began looking into alternative methods. During their search, they discovered our concrete repair before and after photos. Impressed by our previous work, the homeowner decided to sign up for their FREE estimate. We sent one of our Design Specialists, Nate, to investigate the issue. Nate completed the thorough investigation and discovered the garage apron, walkway, and sections of the driveway were sinking due to soil settlement.
Solution
To stop the sinking from continuing, Nate suggested lifting the sections using PolyLevel, our high-density polyurethane formula that stabilizes and lifts sinking concrete slabs. The homeowner knew this was the best option, so they agreed with Nate's recommendations. Once they were approved by the office, the plans were forwarded to our Foreman, Dylon, and his crew. Dylon and his team traveled to the home and started by lifting the garage apron, walkway, and northwest concrete slabs with PolyLevel. After the sections were lifted, the crew focused on filling the various cracks in the driveway. To fill these cracks, the crew used NexusPro, a silicone-based sealant, that will provide flexibility and durability. The crew successfully installed all these products, so they cleaned up their materials and left the home. The homeowner was in awe of the excellent craftsmanship of the crew and left a kind review.
