Uneven Walkway Gets Lifted in St. Paul, MN
Challenge
A homeowner from St. Paul, MN was getting frustrated because he noticed his walkway leading up to his home was showing signs of separating from the concrete porch it was attached to. Not wanting the problem to get worse, the homeowner decided to contact local companies who deal with this issue. Once they came across our company, they knew they had found the right fit. They called in and claimed their FREE, no-obligation estimate, and a few weeks later our Design Specialist, Kyle, headed out to the property to see what could be done.
Solution
After Kyle completed his inspection, he informed the homeowner that he was right to get in touch with us. Kyle said his concrete could be sinking for various reasons but highlighted that due to the amount of rainfall, the area had seen, it wouldn't be out of the question for the soil under the concrete to be washed out, resulting in the sinking the homeowner was experiencing. Kyle informed the homeowner that he wanted to use our PolyLevel concrete lifting and leveling solution. He explained that our PolyLevel is an expanding polyurethane foam that is injected beneath the concrete to fill the gaps caused by soil erosion and raise and stabilize the concrete surface. The homeowner agreed and work began a few weeks later.
