How To Fix A Sinking Driveway in Grand Forks, ND
Challenge
A homeowner in Grand Forks, ND, was worried that their sidewalk and driveway were starting to become a tripping hazard. Instead of letting the problem worsen, the homeowner knew they needed professional assistance. After a quick search, the homeowner came across our impressive concrete before and after photo albums. Knowing we were the company for them, the homeowner signed up for their FREE estimate. After the estimate was set, we sent one of our Design Specialists, James, to the home. After James arrived, he began his detailed estimate of the concrete driveway and sidewalk.
Solution
Following his evaluation, James determined that the sidewalk and driveway were sinking due to settlement. To stop the settlement from continuing, James suggested lifting and leveling the concrete using PolyLevel, a polyurethane foam injection solution. PolyLevel is a high-density polyurethane formula that stabilizes and lifts concrete slabs. Trusting James' plan, the homeowner went along with his suggestions, and the plans were finalized. Once finalized, the plans were sent to our Foreman, Charlie, and his crew. After they arrived at the home, the crew began by lifting the sidewalk and two slabs on the driveway. Next, the crew filled the various joints with the NexusPro Joint Sealant, a silicone-based solution. After the driveway and sidewalk were successfully lifted and leveled, the crew cleaned up their materials and left the home. The homeowner was beyond grateful for the excellent work completed by the crew. If you notice your sidewalk is becoming a tripping hazard, sign up for your FREE estimate today!
