Sinking Walkway Lifted in Caledonia, MN
Challenge
A business owner in Caledonia, MN, was noticing that his congregants were taking a few spills, all on a concrete walkway on the property. The business owner had already had American Waterworks install some products in other areas of the building, and knew that a quick service call could get all his questions answered.
Solution
When his Service Technician, Glenn, arrived at the property, the business owner directed him to the problem walkway. Once Glenn completed his inspection, he informed the business owner that the sinkage was normal and the fix was fairly simple. He stated he wanted to use our PolyLevel solution to address the issue. He went on to say that our PolyLevel is a polyurethane foam that expands when it's inserted under the slab, lifting it back into place. The business owner agreed and work began a few weeks later.
On the day of the installation our Foreman, Sam, arrived at the property and got right to work. He began by verifying Glenn's measurements and then got to work drilling holes into the concrete. Next, he inserted the PolyLevel into the holes and closely monitored the lifting process to ensure the slab returned to its former state.
Once the job was done the business owner was relieved to be rid of a nasty trip hazard!
