Rough Driveway Restored in Plainview, MN

Challenge

A homeowner in Plainview, MN, was completing yard work when they discovered their driveway and sidewalk slabs were beginning to overlap one another. Worried it was taking away from their home, the homeowner wanted to find the proper solution. After looking into several different options, the homeowner saw that we offer PolyLevel. PolyLevel is a high-density polyurethane formula that stabilizes and lifts sinking concrete slabs. Once they saw we offered that service, the homeowner called our Appointment Center and signed up for their FREE estimate. Once the estimate was finalized, we sent one of our Design Specialists, Nate, to perform the estimate.

Solution

After Nate arrived at the home, he introduced himself to the homeowner and started the detailed estimate. During his inspection, Nate discovered the driveway slabs were sinking due to soil settlement. To stop the slabs from sinking further, Nate recommended lifting the sinking driveway with PolyLevel and replacing the driveway joints with the NexusPro Joint Sealant, a silicone-based solution. Nate presented the plans to the homeowner and they agreed with his suggestions. Once they were approved by the homeowner, the plans were passed along to the office for approval. Then, the finalized plans were sent to our Foreman, Patrick, and his crew. Patrick and his team traveled to the home to start the project. First, Patrick and his crew inserted the PolyLevel underneath the driveway and sidewalk. Once the PolyLevel installation was complete, the crew shifted their focus to taking out the old joints and replacing them with the NexusPro Joint Sealant, a silicone-based solution. Finally, the crew repaired several cracks with the NexusPro Crack Repair Solution. Once all the cracks and joints were repaired, the crew cleaned up their materials and left the home.
