Heaving Unlevel Patio in Champlin, MN

Challenge

A homeowner in Champlin, MN, was cleaning their yard when they discovered their patio slabs were overlapping one another. Unsure of what caused the issue, the homeowners began looking into concrete leveling companies closest to them. After sifting through several companies, the homeowner's eye was caught by our impressive line-up of concrete lifting products and recent projects. The homeowner decided to call our Appointment Center and sign up for their FREE estimate. Once the appointment date was set, we sent one of our Design Specialists, Gary, to the home to start the project.

Solution

Gary arrived at the home and began his detailed walk-through of the concrete around the home. Once Gary completed the detailed inspection, he was able to provide the homeowner with a solution. Gary recommended lifting the patio back to its original level and replacing the old, damaged joints. After some deliberation, the homeowner decided to go ahead with Gary's suggestions. Next, Gary directed the plans to our Foreman, Patrick, and his crew to prepare for the project. Patrick and his crew drove to Champlin and arrived at the home to begin the project. First, Patrick and his crew lifted the patio using PolyLevel. PolyLevel is a high-density polyurethane formula that stabilizes and lifts sinking concrete slabs. The crew lifted the patio back to its original level, then the crew shifted their focus to removing several joints. After the joints were removed, the crew replaced them with NexusPro Joint Sealant, a silicone-based solution, which is specially engineered to provide flexibility and long-lasting durability. Once the joints were replaced, the crew could clean up their materials and go to their next assigned project. The homeowner was pleased with the wonderful work completed by the crew.
