Crumbling Driveway Repaired in Calmar, IA
Challenge
A homeowner in Calmar, IA, noticed their driveway cracks were quickly spreading throughout. Since their annual maintenance appointment was approaching, the homeowner made a note to mention their concerns to the Service Technician. A couple of days later, one of our Service Technicians, Kyle, arrived at the home to begin the annual maintenance appointment. Once he completed his inspection of the installed products, Kyle asked the homeowner to show him their concrete concerns.
Solution
The homeowner showed Kyle to their driveway and discussed their issues. After hearing the issues, Kyle began his inspection of the concrete. Kyle confirmed the driveway and sidewalk needed to be lifted and leveled. Additionally, Kyle recommended replacing all the joints throughout the driveway and sidewalk. The homeowner agreed with Kyle's recommendations, so he passed the plans along to the office to be confirmed. After the office confirmed the plans, they sent them to our Foreman, Sam, and his crew. Once they received the plans, Sam and his crew traveled to the home to start the project. First, Sam and his crew lifted the sidewalk and driveway using PolyLevel, our polyurethane foam injection solution. After the sidewalk and driveway were lifted, the crew shifted their focus to taking out the old sidewalk joints and replacing them with NexusPro Joint Sealant, a silicone-based solution. Once all the sidewalk joints were repaired, the crew cleaned up their materials and left the home. The homeowner was thankful to know their driveway and sidewalk were properly repaired.
