Cresco, IA, Sunken Garage Floor Lifted

Challenge

A homeowner in Cresco, IA, knew it was time to have their garage floor lifted and leveled back into place. Knowing they could not repair the garage floor themselves the homeowner began looking into professional concrete repair options near them. The homeowner hoped to avoid total concrete replacement, so they looked into concrete repair options around them. Solution

After Ryan arrived at the home, he began his detailed walkthrough of the concrete. Ryan found that the sidewalk and garage floor were sinking due to settlement and required lifting. Ryan proposed his findings to the homeowner and they liked his plan. Once they were approved, the plans were sent to our Foreman, Troy, and his crew. Troy and his crew traveled to Cresco and began the lift. To lift the garage floor and sidewalk back into place, the crew used PolyLevel, a polyurethane foam injection solution. After the garage floor was lifted, the crew shifted their focus to taking out old joints and filling the damaged cracks with NexusPro, a silicone-based solution. Once all the products were installed and the sidewalk was repaired, the crew cleaned up their materials and put the floor back together as well as new.
