Jagged Driveway Leveled in Decorah, IA

Challenge

A homeowner in Decorah, IA, was driving into their garage when they noticed it was quite bumpy. Concerned by this discovery, the homeowner wanted to have a professional inspect their driveway. Unsure who to work with, the homeowner looked into "concrete repair northeast Iowa" to find the best option for them. Solution

Once the estimate was set, we sent Brad, one of our Design Specialists, to perform the inspection. Brad arrived at the home and he started his detailed inspection of the outside concrete. During his inspection, Brad discovered the sidewalk was sinking into the ground. To stop the sinking from continuing, Brad recommended lifting the slabs and filling the voids underneath the sidewalk. Wanting to solve the issue permanently, the homeowner decided to go ahead with these suggestions. Next, Brad passed the plans along to our Logistics team to build the project. Once the project was built, the plans were sent to our Foreman, Jordan, and his crew. After they received the plans, Jordan and his crew traveled to the home to start the PolyLevel installation. PolyLevel is a high-density polyurethane formula that stabilizes and lifts sinking concrete slabs. Jordan and his crew lifted the driveway and sidewalk back to its original position. Once both were lifted, the crew shifted their attention to taking out the old sidewalk joints and replacing them with NexusPro, a silicone-based sealant for joints and cracks. Additionally, the crew repaired the cracks spread throughout the driveway. Once the project was complete, the crew cleaned up their materials and left the home.
