Charles City, IA SInking Walkway Leveled
Challenge
A homeowner in Charles City, IA, tripped on their walkway one evening. Concerned someone could be significantly injured, the homeowner began looking for a solution. The homeowner asked a local Facebook group for any recommendations and several members referred them to us. Trusting their friend's advice, the homeowner decided to sign up for their FREE estimate. Once the estimate was set, the homeowner prepared for the arrival of Romeo, one of our Design Specialists.
Solution
Romeo promptly arrived at the home and began his detailed inspection of the walkway. During his investigation, Romeo discovered some of the walkway slabs were sinking into the ground. Once Romeo found the issue, he was able to provide a solution for the homeowner. Romeo suggested lifting the walkway leading into the home with PolyLevel, our polyurethane foam injection solution. After hearing Romeo's suggestions, the homeowner agreed and the plans were sent to our office to be finalized. Once the office built the project, they sent the plans to our Foreman, Jordan, and his crew. Jordan and his crew received the plans, so they traveled to Charles City, IA, to begin the project. First, Jordan and his crew lifted the walkway using PolyLevel. Once the walkway was lifted, the crew shifted their focus to taking out the old joints and replacing them with NexusPro, a silicone-based sealant. Once all the joints were replaced, the crew could clean up their materials and leave the home. The homeowner was impressed with the work completed by the crew.
