Sidewalk Lifted and Sealed in Oakdale, MN

Challenge

In Oakdale, MN a homeowner was distressed with her sidewalk because it was uneven and had grass growing between the concrete slabs. She realized that this issue made her properly look unsightly and caused a potential tripping hazard. She decided to do some research on different companies that provided concrete repair. During her search, she came upon American Waterworks and was impressed with our reviews. She decided to contact us to schedule her FREE estimate so that an expert could provide her with the best solution for her concrete issue. Our Design Specialist, Dave S, traveled to the home to inspect the issue and propose a solution.

Solution

Dave had informed the homeowner that her uneven sidewalk could be fixed with PolyLevel, an expanding foam that is injected between the concrete and the soil, and NexusPro, to seal the cracks and joints. He also suggested our SealantPro that is sprayed over the concrete. This product permanently bonds with the concrete and is water-repellent to prevent the concrete from sinking due to the soil washing out. The homeowner happily agreed and Dave's solution was sent to our Foreman's, Ryan T. and Dylon M. Ryan and his crew arrived at the home first to apply the SealantPro. A green tint can be seen on the concrete as this is a way for our crew to ensure that the sealant is applied evenly and throughout. Once it has dried the green tint will disappear. Later, Dylan and his crew were sent to do the PolyLevel and NexusPro to finalize everything.
